The costing committee responsible for proposing the amount of aid is made up of one of the co-chairmen of each commission. For each project, the co-chair of the relevant committee has the casting vote in the event of a tie.Representatives of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée attend the costing committee.
The genre film jury is set up every year.
The reading committees consulted on projects for which production aid is requested for genre films are set up each year. Each committee comprises three readers chosen from a list drawn up each year by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
The Music Grants Committee is made up of five members, including a chairman, appointed for a renewable term of two years.
The Overseas Aid Commission is made up of six members:1° The Director of Economic, Social and Cultural Affairs for Overseas France or his representative;2° Two film professionals;3° One representative of broadcasters;4° Two qualified representatives of overseas cultures.The members mentioned in 2°, 3° and 4° are appointed, after consultation with the Minister for Overseas France, for a renewable term of two years.
