Book IV: SUPPORT FOR DIVERSITY OF CREATION AND PUBLIC PERFORMANCE

Selective financial aid is awarded to production companies for the development of projects for works that contribute to the objectives mentioned in Article 422-2.

Production companies meet the conditions for eligibility for financial aid, as applicable: 1° For the preparation of feature-length cinematographic works, as provided for in article 211-3 ; 2° To the development of projects for long-term cinematographic works, as provided for in Article 212-17 ; 3° A la préparation des œuvres audiovisuelles, prévues par les articles 311-3 and 311-4; 4° To the development of audiovisual work projects, as provided for by…

The following projects are eligible for development aid:1° Long-length cinematographic work or short-length cinematographic work;2° Audiovisual work in the genre of fiction, animation, creative documentary or audiovisual adaptation of a live performance;3° Immersive work.

In the case of production, project development aid may not have the effect of bringing the total amount of public financial aid: 1° For feature-length cinematographic works and audiovisual works, to more than 50% of the final production cost of the work; 2° For feature-length cinematographic works and difficult or low-budget audiovisual works within the meaning, respectively, of articles 211-21 and 311-19, to more than 60% of the final production…
