The subsequent intervention file is compiled during the design phase of the work by the coordinator responsible for it and forwarded to the coordinator responsible for the works phase, where this is different. A record of this transmission is attached to the file.

The post-construction works file is handed over to the project owner by the coordinator on duty when the work is handed over. A record of this handover is attached to the file. The file is attached to the notarial deeds drawn up each time the work is transferred. In the case of joint ownership, a copy of the file is also given to the building’s managing agent.

During any new operation for which a health and safety coordinator is required, a copy of the file for subsequent work on the structure is given to the health and safety coordinator appointed by the project owner. The coordinator makes any changes and additions to the file arising from the new work. The transmission rules set out in this section apply to the updated file.
