SINGLE TITLE: EXCEPTIONAL MEASURES TO ASSIST COMPANIES IN THE FILM AND OTHER ARTS AND ANIMAL MEDIA SECTORS AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC

For work projects selected as part of a festival in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the two-year investment period referred to in 2° of article 411-11 is extended to three years.

For investment grants awarded in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the two-year period referred to in the first paragraph of article 411-17 for the work to obtain a cinematographic exhibition licence is replaced by a three-year period for the production company to apply for this licence.

For direct grants for the production of audiovisual works awarded in 2020, the two-year period is extended to three years.

For pre-production grants awarded in 2020 and 2021, the fifteen-month period referred to in the first paragraph of article 411-29 is increased to twenty-four months. This provision also applies to grants awarded in 2019 for which the fifteen-month period has not expired on the date of entry into force of resolution no. 2020/CA/28 of 8 December 2020.

For production aid before completion granted in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the two-year period referred to in article 411-31 is extended to three years.

For the allocation of production programme aid in 2021 and 2022, the 20-point reduction provided for in II of article 411-44 does not apply.

For production programme grants awarded in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the two-year period referred to in the first paragraph of article 411-54 is extended to three years.

For production programme grants awarded in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the two-year period referred to in 1° of article 411-55 is extended to three years.

For the calculation in 2021 and 2022 of direct allocations to theatrical screenings of short-lived cinematographic and audiovisual works, the threshold condition of 1,500 admissions set out in article 412-9 does not apply.
