In the event of changes to the territorial boundaries of communes resulting in population variations, the lump-sum allocations due to each of these communes are calculated, in accordance with article L. 2334-7, taking into account the new populations.

In the event of the division of communes, the lump-sum allocation of the former commune calculated in application of III of article L. 2334-7 is distributed between each new commune in proportion to the population.
