Title I: Cinema professions and activities

Any request for approval must be sent by the operator issuing the form to the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt.

If the President of the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée remains silent for more than three months on an application for approval, this will be deemed to constitute a decision of acceptance.

When a cinema operator has already set up an approved cinema access scheme, it must send the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée any new application for approval no later than three months before the expiry date of the approval for this scheme.

The application for approval is accompanied by the following information: 1° The general subscription conditions for the package offered to the spectator; 2° The list of cinemas in which the package will be accepted; 3° The commitments made by virtue ofarticle L. 212-28 and, where applicable, the criteria and conditions for implementing the indexation referred to inarticle R. 212-47; 4° The economic data referred to in article L. 212-28, enabling…

The economic data referred to in 4° of Article R. 212-54 cover, for the duration of the commitments, the projected economics of the package, in particular: the subscription price, the management costs and those of the guarantee offered under the package, the number of subscribers and the average annual frequency of use of the package. The application for amending approval shall be accompanied by all documents relating to the substantial change(s) envisaged. When examining the application, all or some of the economic data listed in Article R. 212-55 are, upon request, forwarded to the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée. The time limit for examining the request runs from receipt of the information requested.
