The agreement provided for in article L. 122-14 is sent for approval to the Prefect of the département in which the sports association has its registered office.

The Prefect receives an application for approval and issues a receipt. He consults the sports federation concerned and any professional league it has set up. The sports federation and the professional league issue their opinion within the time limit set by the Prefect.
At the end of the period referred to in article R. 122-11, the Prefect will issue an order. Reasons are given for refusal of approval.
