Article R518-38 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Caisse des dépôts et consignations is responsible for the sums deposited, for which it issues receipts. The voluntary depositor must, on the same receipt and by a declaration signed by him, elect an address for service in the city of Paris, which gives him jurisdiction for all matters relating to the said deposit, in accordance witharticle 111 of the Civil Code.

Article R518-39 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Voluntary deposits shall be returned to the depositor, his authorised representative or his successors in title at the time agreed in the deed of deposit or, if no time has been agreed, upon presentation.
