The Prefect of Corsica chairs the Sites Council. He co-chairs it with the President of the Corsican Executive Council when the council meets in a “heritage and architecture” formation. The duties of secretary are carried out by a civil servant appointed by the Corsican Prefect. .
Except when the sites council sits in a “heritage and architecture” formation, the chairman has the casting vote in the event of a tie. A secret ballot is automatically held when three members present or represented so request.
State departments, local authorities and public services that are not represented on the sites council may be heard on matters that concern them, at the request of the chairman or co-chairmen when the council is sitting in a “heritage and architecture” formation. The council may also hear any person whose testimony it deems useful. .
The provisions of articles R. 4421-10 to R. 4421-14, insofar as they govern the operation of the Corsican Sites Council sitting in a formation known as “heritage and architecture”, are applicable to the permanent delegation created within the latter. .
Articles R. 4135-1 and R. 4135-2 are applicable to the members of the Assembly of Corsica.

For the application of article R. 4135-4, the duration of the hours credited for one quarter is equal to: a) One hundred and forty hours for the President of the Executive Council; b) One hundred and five hours for the members of the Executive Council.
Articles R. 4135-8-1 to R. 4135-19-4 are applicable to the president and members of the Corsican Executive Council.
The Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council comprises sixty-three members divided into three sections.
