PART FOUR: THE REGION

The public establishment is administered by a twenty-four-member board of directors comprising: 1° Twenty members of the regional assemblies of the Ile-de-France region, elected from among their members, seventeen by the regional council and three by the regional economic, social and environmental council; 2° Four persons qualified in the field of nature and environmental protection, appointed by the president of the regional council.

The term of office for directors is three years. However, the term of office of the members of the Board of Directors elected by the Regional Council and the Regional Economic, Social and Environmental Council expires automatically when the mandate in respect of which they were appointed expires before the expiry of the aforementioned period.
