Title V: Prevention of risks of exposure to radiation

The employer shall draw up an exposure sheet for these workers containing the following information: 1° The nature of the work performed; 2° The characteristics of the emitting sources to which the worker is exposed; 3° The nature of the radiation; 4° Where applicable, the results of measurements of artificial optical radiation levels; 5° Periods of exposure.

In the event of abnormal exposure, the employer will record the duration and nature of the exposure on the exposure sheet.

A copy of the exposure sheet is given to the company doctor. It is made available to the Labour Inspectorate on request.

Each worker concerned is informed of the existence of the exposure sheet and has access to the information it contains.

When exposure in excess of the limit values is detected or when individual monitoring reveals that a worker is suffering from a disease or abnormality likely to result from exposure to artificial optical radiation, the health professionals mentioned in the first paragraph of Article L. 4624-1 inform the occupational physician without delay, who will inform the worker of the results concerning him/her and indicate the necessary medical follow-up. When an illness or abnormality mentioned in Article R. 4452-29 is reported to him by the occupational physician, a new risk assessment is carried out by the employer.

The health professional referred to in the first paragraph of Article L. 4624-1 shall, for each worker likely to be exposed to artificial optical radiation in excess of the exposure limit values defined in Articles R. 4452-5 and R. 4452-6 , place in the occupational health medical file, which he/she shall open if necessary: 1° A copy of the exposure sheet provided for in Article R. 4452-23; 2° The dates…
