The employment contract concluded between a modelling agency and each model made available to a user shall be signed by the model’s legal representatives if the model is a minor. The model may sign the contract.
None of the successive deductions referred to in article L. 7123-9 and made by the modelling agency to reimburse the expenses it has advanced for the promotion and development of the model’s career may exceed 20% of the amount of the salaries and remuneration payable to the model.
The information and prevention visit provided for in articles R. 4624-10 to R. 4624-21 and the fitness medical examination provided for in articles R. 4624-23 to R. 4624-27 are carried out by the occupational health service responsible for the medical monitoring of mannequins. The medical certificate referred to in article L. 7123-2-1 of the Labour Code is issued at the time of this visit or examination.

The implementation of the derogation mentioned in article R. 7123-5 is subject to the conclusion and extension of a branch agreement, providing in particular for the methods of distributing the financing of medical surveillance.
Each mannequin will receive at least one visit or examination carried out by a health professional from the occupational health service per twelve-month period with a view to ensuring, if he is covered by reinforced individual monitoring, that he remains fit to carry out the job in question. The first visit or examination takes place within twelve months of the first information and prevention visit or medical examination on recruitment.
Any person established in France who engages in the placement of models for remuneration must hold a model agency licence.
The modelling agency licence is issued for an indefinite period by the Prefect of Paris. The Ile-de-France Regional Director for Business, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment examines the application and seeks the opinion of the Ile-de-France Regional Director for Cultural Affairs. The order granting the modelling agency licence is notified to the interested parties and published in the Journal officiel de la République française.
The licence application is sent to the prefect mentioned in article R. * 7123-9, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
