The Professional Journalists Identity Card Committee may cancel a card. Before doing so, the chairman of the commission summons the holder to appear before it by registered letter. Commission members must have practised their profession for at least two of the five years preceding their appointment or election. They must not have been banned, disqualified or disqualified from exercising their civic rights.
