I.- By way of derogation from article D. 6124-177-2, the hospitalisation sector may include rooms with up to four beds. They are organised in such a way as to ensure that patients’ privacy is respected. II – In the event of the creation of a new activity, the holder is not authorised to derogate from article D. 6124-177-2.

The coordinating doctor specialises in paediatrics and in this case has proven training or experience in rehabilitation, or specialises in physical and rehabilitation medicine and in this case has proven training or experience in the care of children. Where the children being cared for are placed on oxygen therapy or artificial ventilation, or receive parenteral nutrition, the coordinating doctor must specialise in paediatrics.
The organisation of medical continuity of care ensures the intervention of a doctor specialising in paediatrics or a doctor with proven training or experience in the care of children within a timeframe compatible with patient safety. This organisation may be common to several health establishments.
The authorisation holder takes the necessary steps to ensure that the patient, depending on his/her state of health, benefits from the compulsory education provided for in articles L. 131-1 et seq. of the Education Code, in agreement with the holder of parental authority.
The authorisation holder offers each patient, depending on his or her clinical condition, treatment in at least three of the following therapeutic practices: -masso-physiotherapy; -ergotherapy; -orthophony; -psychomotricity; -psychological care; -adapted physical activity.
Care is organised in such a way that, depending on the patient’s clinical condition, at least two sequences of treatment, including at least one individual treatment, are provided each working day in the case of full hospitalisation, or each time a patient is admitted to hospital part-time.
In addition to the teams provided for in article D. 6124-177-61, the multidisciplinary team includes at least one childcare assistant.
In addition to the premises provided for in article D. 6124-177-1, the authorised site includes at least one area dedicated to the care and support required by people with cancer throughout their illness.
