Section 1: Care activities

I.-The medical staff required for the activity includes at least one doctor specialising in radiology and medical imaging, present on site while the patient is being treated. The authorisation holder shall put in place a formalised organisation describing, depending on the situation, the procedures for the intervention of one or more doctors specialising in anaesthesia and intensive care in conjunction with the medical staff mentioned in I of article D. 6124-235 with the aim of ensuring the safety of the care provided. Protocols are drawn up by the medical staff mentioned in I of article D. 6124-235 to organise patient care with the doctors in charge of the inpatient units, the continuous monitoring unit, the intensive care unit or the resuscitation unit, as appropriate, when patients are admitted to these units. Where appropriate, these protocols are adapted to the specificities of paediatric care.

The holder ensures the continuity and safety of care as provided for in Article L. 1110-1, and formalises this in the protocols referred to in Article D. 6124-237.

The authorisation holder ensures that data from professional practices is collected and analysed with the aim of improving practices and risk management.

The performance of any complex medical procedure must comply with recommendations for good practice or be the subject of a collegiate decision.

The authorisation holder shall put in place a procedure to ensure that each member of the team has mastered the requirements of their duties before taking up any independent post. This procedure takes into account the experience of the professional concerned. The procedure is reassessed and, if necessary, modified in the event of a change of equipment, major modifications to the structure or a prolonged interruption in activity.
