Any registration file for an event taking place on an approved permanent circuit submitted by the organiser must include : 1° The name, postal and electronic addresses and contact details of the organiser and, where applicable, of the person appointed as technical organiser; 2° The title of the event, the date, the circuit and the times when it will take place, accompanied by a specific document specifying the discipline concerned…

The following are exempt from the formality stipulated in 6° of article A. 331-17: 1° Organisers who are members of the relevant delegated sports federation, provided that the event is included in the calendar mentioned in 1° of article R. 131-26 ; 2° Approved sports federations, their regional or departmental bodies and their members, provided that the discipline which is the subject of the event is covered by the agreement…

The administrative authority issues a declaration receipt to the organiser when the application is complete. This receipt is also sent by the prefect to the local police authorities concerned by the event.
