Postal votes are kept in a box, sealed in the presence of the relevant Council office. The surnames, first names and addresses of postal voters are recorded in the order in which they are received.

Postal votes received after the opening of the ballot will not be counted. Voters who have voted by post may not take part in the vote at the meeting.

Where there are not enough alternate members to replace the full members who have ceased to hold office for any reason, additional elections shall be held within a maximum period of six months following the opening of the first or second vacancy that could not be filled by appointing an alternate member.

The time limit for appealing to the administrative court against elections to disciplinary boards and chambers is fifteen days.
