Every midwife must refrain, even outside the practice of her profession, from any act likely to bring it into disrepute. A midwife may only engage in another activity if such combination is compatible with professional dignity or is not prohibited by the regulations in force. A midwife is prohibited from practising another profession which enables her to derive a profit from her prescriptions or advice of a professional nature.
