The Regional Council meets at the initiative of its Chairman, at least once every three months, at a location in the region chosen by the Standing Committee.
The regional council is also convened at the request of: 1° The standing committee; 2° Or one third of its members on a specific agenda, for a period that may not exceed two days. The same regional councillor may not submit more than one request for a meeting per half-year. In exceptional circumstances, regional councils may be convened by decree.
