PART FOUR: THE REGION

For the application to Mayotte of Part Four of this Code: 1° The reference to the region or overseas region is replaced by the reference to the Department of Mayotte; 2° The reference to the regional council is replaced by the reference to the general council.

For the application to Mayotte of Chapter V of Title III, the reference to the region is replaced by the reference to the Department of Mayotte and the reference to the regional council is replaced by the reference to the departmental council.

The following provisions of Part Four of this Code are not applicable to Mayotte: 1° Book I; 2° In Book II: a) Article L. 4221-2 ; b) Title III; 3° In Book III: a) Chapters I and II of Title I; b) Article L. 4313-1 and the second sentence of 9° of Article L. 4313-2 ; c) Title II; d) Chapters I and III of Title III, sections 2, 3…

The taxes mentioned in 2° to 6° of a of Article L. 4331-2 are allocated to the Department of Mayotte under the conditions that these provisions provide. III of Article L. 4331-2-1 is applicable to Mayotte.

The planning and sustainable development plan, drawn up on the basis of articles LO 6161-42 and LO 6161-43 in their wording in force before the publication of the loi organique n° 2010-1486 du 7 décembre 2010 relative au Département de Mayotte, and which came into force on 22 June 2009, is assimilated to the regional development plan provided for in articles L. 4433-7 à L. 4433-11.
