The public establishments defined in articles L. 6132-1, L. 6132-2, L. 6141-1, L. 6141-2 and L. 6147-3 which have beds or places authorised for gynaecology-obstetrics or surgery may not refuse to carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy.
To carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy, private establishments must have beds or places authorised for gynaecology-obstetrics or surgery.
Public or private establishments that carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy have the capacity to deal with any complications, even delayed ones, arising in women who have had a voluntary termination of pregnancy, without delay, in their medical, gynaecology-obstetrics or surgical facilities.
Public establishments which perform voluntary interruptions of pregnancy include an approved family planning or education centre or enter into an agreement so that this centre carries out, in the establishment, the activities defined by articles R. 2311-7 to R. 2311-18. Private establishments which carry out voluntary terminations of pregnancy enter into an agreement with an approved family planning or education centre so that this centre can carry out the activities…
The agreement provided for in the second paragraph of article L. 2212-2 shall comply with the standard agreement constituting one of the following annexes: 1° Annex 22-1 for the practice of voluntary interruption of pregnancy carried out by medication; 2° Annex 22-2 for the practice of voluntary interruption of pregnancy by instrumental method in a health centre.
