When the authorisation to practise or the declaration of provision of services is issued, the medical electroradiology manipulator must have the language skills required to practise the profession and those relating to the systems of weights and measures used in France. The language proficiency test must be proportionate to the activity to be performed and must be carried out once the professional qualification has been recognised.

Persons who have obtained the evidence of formal qualifications or authorisation required to practise the profession of medical electroradiology manipulator prior to their entry into the profession, as well as those who are not practising the profession but obtained their evidence of formal qualifications less than three years ago, are required to register with the service or body designated for this purpose by the Minister for Health. The organisations issuing the training certificates send these certificates to the service or organisation mentioned in article L. 4352-1 in the form of certified information.

Where available, the certified information referred to in Article L. 4352-1-1 shall be used in lieu of supporting documents to fulfil the obligations set out in Article L. 4352-1.
