Part Five: Employment

The Citizen Commitment Account records the voluntary activities of its holder. It enables the holder to acquire : 1° Rights to the personal training account in respect of these activities; 2° Days of leave for these activities.

Volunteer activities are recorded as part of the personal data processing mentioned in II of article L. 6323-8. The account holder decides which activities he wishes to record.

Voluntary or volunteer activities enabling the acquisition of rights recorded in euros and registered on the personal training account are : 1° Civic service as referred to inarticle L. 120-1 of the French National Service Code ; 2° The operational military reserve mentioned inarticle L. 4211-1 of the Defence Code; 2° bis The voluntary national police operational reserve mentioned in 3° and 4° of article L. 411-7 of the Internal…

A decree defines, for each of the activities mentioned in article L. 5151-9, the amount of rights acquired as a function of the time devoted to that activity, subject to a ceiling.

The mobilisation of the rights mentioned in Article L. 5151-10 is financed : 1° By the State, for the activities mentioned in 1°, 2°, 2° bis, 5°, and 6° of article L. 5151-9, as well as for the activity mentioned in 3° of the same article L. 5151-9, with the exception of the communal civil security reserve and the citizens’ reserve of the fire and rescue services mentioned in Chapter…

Employers may grant paid leave for voluntary work. These days of leave can be credited to the Citizen Commitment Account.
