The purpose of the written test, which lasts five hours, is to deal with a case file relating to one of the tasks likely to be entrusted to a judicial representative. The mark carries a coefficient of 6.
Each test is marked from 0 to 20. Each mark is weighted by the coefficient laid down for the corresponding test. Approval is awarded by the selection board on the basis of the average marks obtained by the candidate in all the tests he or she has taken, if this is equal to or higher than 10 out of 20. The selection board will draw up a list of candidates declared suitable. This list is published in the Journal officiel de la République française. The results are notified individually to each candidate.
