Transport costs incurred by trainees who receive remuneration from the State or the regions for travel of any kind required for their training courses are reimbursed in full or in part by the State or the region.
Under certain conditions defined by decree of the Conseil d’Etat, the trainee may benefit from a loan granted by the State or by approved organisations receiving assistance from the State. This loan may be combined with any allowances received under the provisions of this title.
All disputes arising in connection with the assessment, payment and reimbursement of the remuneration and allowances provided for in this chapter shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts.
A decree of the Conseil d’Etat shall determine the conditions of application of this chapter.
Any person attending a continuing vocational training course under the terms of this Book shall be compulsorily affiliated to a social security scheme. Trainees who were covered by a social security scheme in any capacity whatsoever prior to their training period remain affiliated to that scheme for the duration of their training period. When a vocational training trainee covered by an employee social security scheme is paid by his or her employer, the State contributes to the employer’s social security contributions in the same proportion as for the remuneration.
The social security contributions of a trainee who is remunerated by the State, the skills operator or the region for the duration of the course, or who is not remunerated at all, are paid in full by the State, the skills operator or the region, as appropriate, in the same way as the funding of the training course.
