Each chamber represented at CCI France pursuant to the second paragraph of Article L. 711-15 designates from among its elected members a substitute called upon to replace, in the event of impediment, its President in all CCI France bodies on which he sits.

The President chairs the General Meetings, the Executive Committee and the Bureau. If he is unable to act, he is replaced by one of the vice-presidents chosen in the order of their appointment. He represents CCI France with the public authorities and in all civil acts.

CCI France meets at a General Meeting three times a year, on dates set by decision of the Steering Committee. CCI France also meets at an Extraordinary General Meeting either on the initiative of the Chairman, or at the request of the Minister responsible for overseeing the chambers of commerce and industry or one third of the members making up the meeting.
