The organiser of a trade show as defined in article L. 762-2 that is not held in a registered exhibition centre must submit a prior electronic declaration to the prefect of the département in which the event is to be held at least two months before the start of the event. When one of the elements of the initial declaration is modified before or during the event, a declaration must be made immediately to the prefect of the département under the conditions laid down by order of the minister responsible for trade.

An order of the Minister responsible for trade shall specify the terms and conditions under which the formalities provided for in this chapter shall be carried out electronically. This order provides for the setting up of a teleservice system for this purpose.

The maximum value of goods that may be offered for sale on site, for the personal use of the purchaser, at a trade show as defined by article L. 762-2, is set at 80 euros inclusive of all taxes.

Trade events declared under the conditions provided for in articles R. 762-5 to R. 762-12 are advertised by the administration and by electronic means, in accordance with the conditions laid down by order of the minister responsible for trade.
