The application for approval, accompanied by a file drawn up in accordance with article R. 328-1, is sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to the Minister for Culture, who issues a receipt. Accreditation is granted by order of the Minister for Culture, published in the Journal officiel de la République française.

Authorisation is granted for five years. Approval is renewable under the same conditions as the initial approval.

The Minister of Culture shall be informed within fifteen days of any change in the status or general regulations and of any termination of office of a member of the deliberative and governing bodies of an approved organisation. Failure to declare may result in the withdrawal of approval under the conditions set out in article R. 328-6.

If an approved organisation ceases to fulfil one of the conditions set out in article R. 328-1, the Minister responsible for culture will give it written notice to comply with the conditions of approval. The beneficiary of the approval has a period of one month in which to present its observations and, where applicable, the measures it intends to take to comply.
