Title V: Medical and pharmaceutical staff

Associate practitioners may be classified in the first or second step. They reach the second step after spending one year in the first step. This advancement in step is decided by the director of the establishment to which they are assigned.

Associate practitioners receive, after service rendered : 1° Flat-rate monthly emoluments, the amount of which, which varies according to the grade occupied, is set by joint order of the ministers responsible for health, the budget and the civil service. These emoluments follow the trend in civil service salaries as determined by the Minister for Health; 2° Bonuses and allowances, the list of which is set by decree.

Associate practitioners working in Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon receive a special monthly allowance, not subject to contributions to the supplementary pension scheme and equal to 40% of the emoluments mentioned in 1° of article R. 6152-912.

When they move to Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, and when they return to metropolitan France after this assignment, the transport costs of associate practitioners, their spouse and dependent children within the meaning of Book V of the Social Security Code, as well as the costs of moving their furniture, relating to their change of residence are borne, in accordance with the provisions applicable to…
