In the event of an accident at work or an occupational disease, the associate practitioner is entitled to leave for the entire period of incapacity to work until full recovery, consolidation of the injury or death. The provisions of article R. 6153-19 relating to the procedure before the medical committee are applicable to associate practitioners.

The associate practitioner is entitled to maternity leave, birth leave, paternity leave and childcare leave, for the arrival of a child placed for adoption or adoption, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in article R. 6152-819.

Unpaid parental leave is granted under the conditions set out inarticle L. 1225-62 of the French Labour Code and the regulatory provisions adopted for its application to the associate practitioner whose dependent child is the victim of a serious illness, accident or disability. The duration of this leave cannot be deducted from the annual leave.
