Article R6152-927 of the French Public Health Code

The associate practitioner may, at his request, be placed on unpaid leave by the director of the establishment to which he is assigned, in the event of serious accident or illness of his spouse, a person with whom he is bound by a civil solidarity pact, a child or an ascendant.
