Article R341-1 of the French Consumer Code

The fact that an advertiser disseminates or causes to be disseminated advertising that does not comply with the obligations laid down in articles L. 312-5, L. 312-6 and L. 312-8 to L. 312-11 is punishable by the fine laid down for 5th class offences. The court may also order publication of the judgment and rectification of the advertising at the expense of the convicted person.

Article R341-4 of the French Consumer Code
