The Chairman of the Policy Board and its members are appointed for a term of three years, renewable once. If a seat falls vacant due to the permanent inability of its holder or the loss of the capacity in respect of which he was appointed, another member is appointed under the same conditions as the one he replaces and for the remainder of the term of office.
