To ensure the implementation of the national health monitoring and surveillance system and to improve the relevance of its actions, the Agency has, under its authority, regional response units, which report to the Directors General of the Regional Health Agencies. It concludes agreements with the regional health agencies for the implementation of its missions and specifying the operating procedures of the regional response units.

To carry out its tasks, the Agency relies on : 1° A national public health network which it organises and runs.
