The detailed rules for the application of this section shall be laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

A foreign national placed under house arrest pursuant to this Title shall report periodically to the police or gendarmerie units.He shall also report, when requested to do so by the administrative authority, to the consular authorities, with a view to the issue of a travel document.

If the foreign national poses a particularly serious threat to public order, the administrative authority may have him or her taken by police services or gendarmerie units to the places of assignment.

The administrative authority may require the foreign national under house arrest to surrender his passport or any document proving his identity, under the conditions laid down in article L. 814-1.
