The resettled person may also request the issue of the certificate referred to in article D. 561-12 from the operator responsible for assisting him/her, who will draw it up and have it validated by the French Office for Immigration and Integration. .
The certificate mentioned in Article D. 561-12 is valid from the date of issue until the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons issues civil status documents attesting to the family composition.
Aforeign nationals who have been granted refugee status or subsidiary protection shall inform the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons of their address and inform the Office of any change of address, within three months of the change. If he/she has changed address without informing the Office, any notification made by the Office to the last known address is deemed to be in order.
When the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons terminates refugee status pursuant to Articles L. 511-7, L. 511-8 or L. 511-9, or the benefit of subsidiary protection pursuant to Article L. 512-3, it informs the competent Prefect and the Minister responsible for asylum of the basis on which this decision was taken.
An appeal for review may be lodged with the Cour nationale du droit d’asile in the cases provided for in Articles L. 511-9 and L. 512-4.The appeal shall be lodged within two months of the finding of facts of such a nature as to justify exclusion from refugee status or the benefit of subsidiary protection or to characterise fraud.
After fulfilling the obligations set out in article R. 521-7, the asylum seeker is given the asylum application certificate referred to in article L. 571-1. It specifies that the foreign national is the subject of a procedure pursuant to regulation no. 604/2013 of 26 June 2013.This certificate does not allow free movement in the other Member States of the European Union.
Without prejudice to the second paragraph of Article 11-1 of Decree no. 2004-374 of 29 April 2004, the authority competent to determine the State responsible for examining an asylum application and to take a transfer decision pursuant to Article L. 572-1 is the departmental prefect and, in Paris, the police prefect.
