The individual approvals mentioned in 1° of article R. 744-43 and article R. 744-44 are issued by the Prefect or, in Paris, by the Prefect of Police.
The individual approvals mentioned in 2° of article R. 744-43 are issued by the Minister responsible for immigration.
The authority competent to decide to move a foreign national from one place of detention to another, under the conditions set out in article L. 744-17, is the département prefect and, in Paris, the police prefect.
In accordance with article R. 264-1, the provisions of articles R. 752-1 to R. 752-5, R. 753-1 to R. 753-5 and R. 754-2 to R. 754-20 are applicable to foreign nationals whose situation is governed by Book II.

A foreign national placed under house arrest pursuant to article L. 751-2 may be required to reside in the accommodation provided for in 2° of article L. 552-1.
For the application of the third paragraph of article L. 751-5, the procedure shall be as set out in articles R. 733-6 to R. 733-13.
The provisions of articles R. 732-5, R. 733-1, R. 733-3 and R. 733-5 to R. 733-13 are applicable to foreign nationals assigned to residence pursuant to article L. 751-2.
The administrative authority competent to assign a foreign national to residence pursuant to article L. 751-6 is the departmental prefect and, in Paris, the police prefect.
The provisions of articles R. 732-6, R. 733-1, R. 733-3 and R. 733-5 to R. 733-13 are applicable to foreign nationals assigned to residence pursuant to article L. 751-6.
