The decision to grant aid is taken after consultation with the Technical Projects Aid Committee.
The aid is awarded in the form of a grant. The aid is the subject of an agreement with the beneficiary.
Selective financial aid is awarded to support the feasibility phase prior to the development of an innovative product or service, including the creation of prototypes.
Feasibility grants are awarded to companies that develop or make available technical resources for the creation, manufacture, production, distribution or conservation of cinematographic works, audiovisual works or video games. The beneficiary companies are responsible for the technical aspects of the project.
To be eligible for feasibility aid, companies must meet the following conditions: 1° Be established in France; 2° Have chairmen, directors or managers, and a majority of their directors, who are French nationals or equivalent; 3° They must not be controlled by one or more natural or legal persons who are nationals of a country other than a European country, if they are set up as a commercial company.
Feasibility aid is granted to help cover the expenses mentioned in 3 (a, b, d and e) and 4 of Article 25 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 referred to in Article 631-2.
Feasibility grants are awarded and their amount is determined taking into consideration: 1° The project’s ability to meet market needs, in line with the company’s development strategy; 2° The technical quality and innovative nature of the project; 3° The integration of environmental issues; 4° The consistency of the budget; 5° The company’s ability to complete the feasibility phase of the project.
