The provisions of articles R. 4331-12 to R. 4331-15 are applicable to the provision of services by dental assistants whose declaration is provided for in article L. 4393-14.

The dental assistants’ commission for the region designated by order of the Minister for Health comprises : 1° The Regional Director for Youth, Sport and Social Cohesion or his representative, as Chairman ; 2° The Director General of the Regional Health Agency; 3° A doctor practising in the field of dental surgery; 4° A practising dental surgeon; 5° Two practising dental assistants who meet the conditions for practising in France….

The regional directorate for youth, sport and social cohesion provides the committee’s secretariat.

The competent authority’s assessment of the applicant’s command of the French language results in a decision that may be appealed to the administrative court with territorial jurisdiction.
