Purchasers may authorise an economic operator who is in a case of exclusion provided for in this section to participate in a contract for overriding reasons relating to the public interest.
The provisions of articles L. 2141-7 to L. 2141-11 apply.
Where, during the course of the procedure for the award of a contract, an economic operator is placed in one of the cases of exclusion mentioned in sections 1 and 2, it shall inform the purchaser of this change in situation without delay. In this event, the purchaser shall exclude the candidate or tenderer from the contract award procedure on this ground.

The provisions of articles L. 2152-1 to L. 2152-4, concerning irregular, unacceptable or inappropriate tenders, articles L. 2152-5 and L. 2152-6, concerning abnormally low tenders, and articles L. 2152-7 and L. 2152-8, concerning the choice of the most economically advantageous tender, apply.
