For the application of article L. 354-4, the provisions of article L. 342-6 only apply to the provisions covered by articles L. 342-4 and L. 342-5.

From the moment they are first placed on the market, products and services must comply with the requirements in force relating to the safety and health of individuals, fair trading and consumer protection.The person responsible for first placing a product or service on the market shall check that it complies with the requirements in force.At the request of authorised agents, he shall justify the checks and controls carried out.
Any operator who becomes aware, after acquiring or transferring products, of non-compliance with the regulations relating to a substantial quality of all or part of these products, shall inform without delay, by any means that he can justify, the person who supplied him with these products and those to whom he transferred them. .
