Creation grants are only awarded for projects conceived and written entirely or mainly in French or in a regional language used in France.

The projects must not have been submitted to and accepted by a television or on-demand audiovisual media services publisher prior to the submission of the application.In addition, until the decision of the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, the projects must not be submitted to a television or on-demand audiovisual media services publisher.
