Selective financial aid is awarded for the production of quality short-length audiovisual works in order to improve their financing conditions and encourage their exposure on television and on-demand audiovisual media services.

Selective grants are awarded to delegated production companies that do not hold an automatic audiovisual production account.

Audiovisual short-duration single works in the fiction, animation and creative documentary genres are eligible for selective support.

Short-length audiovisual works are made with the assistance of shooting studios and laboratories established in France, on the territory of a Member State of the European Union or, when they are made as part of an international co-production eligible under an intergovernmental co-production agreement, on the territory of the State or States of the co-producers. To be eligible for selective financial support, short-length audiovisual works must receive an initial contribution from one or more television or on-demand audiovisual media service publishers.

The initial contribution from the publisher(s) must:1° Be made in cash in the form of investment in producer’s shares or in the form of a contract for the purchase of rights to make the work available to the public concluded with the production company before shooting is completed.
