The transferring producer and the beneficiary of the transaction are heard at least once by the Commission for the Protection of Access to Works. They may also send their written observations to the Commission, within a time limit set by the Chairman of the Commission, by any means enabling the date of receipt and the identity of the addressee to be certified, including by electronic means.
The decision of the Commission for the Protection of Access to Works sets out the legal and factual considerations on which it is based. The transferring producer is notified of the decision without delay. The beneficiary of the operation and the minister responsible for culture are informed of the decision.

Automatic financial aid from the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image Animée is awarded automatically to persons who meet the conditions for receiving it.It gives rise to:1° Either the calculation and entry of sums in a nominative account opened in the institution’s books, with a view to their investment by the person holding the account;2° Or the payment of direct allowances.
Selective financial aid from the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée is awarded on the basis of an application that is subject to assessment.
Financial assistance from the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée may not be granted for or in respect of cinematographic, audiovisual or multimedia works or documents of a pornographic nature or inciting to violence.
