The classification committees mentioned in Article R. 211-27 view the works or documents in order to draw up a report for the chairman of the classification committee.

Referred to by its chairman under the conditions set out in Article R. 211-6, the classification committee views the works or documents in order to give its opinion to the Minister for Culture.

The Minister for Culture will give reasons for any warning, specific ban on screenings or refusal to grant a cinema licence, and may make them public.

The Minister may ask the Classification Committee to carry out a further examination.The procedure set out in the previous paragraph is compulsory if the Minister responsible for culture intends to take a more restrictive measure than that proposed by the Classification Committee or the Classification Committee.
