Persons remanded in custody or sentenced to a custodial sentence shall be booked and detained in prisons under the conditions laid down in the provisions of the Prison Code. .

Persons remanded in custody or sentenced to a custodial sentence shall be booked and detained in prisons under the conditions laid down in the provisions of the Prison Code. .
The placement, on an exceptional basis, of juvenile detainees over the age of sixteen in a disciplinary cell may not exceed seven days. In an emergency, juvenile detainees over the age of sixteen may, as a preventive measure, be placed in a disciplinary cell or confined to an individual cell. This measure may not exceed two working days.

The court shall rule in open court, after hearing the public prosecutor, the convicted person and, where applicable, the lawyer chosen by him or appointed ex officio at his request. The judgment is immediately enforceable notwithstanding any appeal.
Transfer periods are deducted in full from the length of the sentence served in France. .
All contentious incidents relating to the enforcement of the custodial sentence remaining to be served in France shall be brought before the correctional court of the place of detention. The provisions of Article 711 of this Code shall apply.
The enforcement of the sentence shall be governed by the provisions of this Code.
