The provisions of articles R. 6152-501, with the exception of 2° and the fifth paragraph, R. 6152-502, R. 6152-504, with the exception of the first and last paragraphs, R. 6152-508 to R. 6152-510, R. 6152-511-1, R. 6152-513, R. 6152-518, with the exception of the last paragraph, and articles R. 6152-519 to R. 6152-536 are applicable to associate assistants.
Subject to the provisions of article R. 6152-539-2, associate assistants are recruited for an initial period of either one or two years, renewable by periods of one year, but the total period of service as an associate assistant may not exceed six years.
Associate assistant candidates may sign a contract to work in a public health institution and are then recruited for a period of two years or four years. The total duration of their duties as associate assistant may not exceed six years.
