For any patient whose condition requires general or loco-regional anaesthesia, health establishments, including alternative care facilities, provide the following guarantees: 1° A pre-anaesthetic consultation, in the case of a scheduled operation ; 2° The means necessary to carry out this anaesthetic; 3° Continuous monitoring after the operation; 4° Organisation to deal with complications arising from the operation or anaesthesia at any time.
The pre-anaesthetic consultation mentioned in 1° of article D. 6124-91 takes place several days before the operation. If the patient is not yet hospitalised : 1° For public and private health establishments of collective interest, it is carried out as part of outpatient consultations; 2° For private health establishments covered by the provisions of article L. 6114-3, it is carried out either in the practice of the anaesthetist or on…
The table setting out the scheduling of operations is drawn up jointly by the doctors performing these operations, the anaesthetists concerned and the person responsible for organising the operating theatre, taking particular account of hygiene, safety and organisational requirements for the operation of the operating theatre, as well as the possibilities for post-intervention monitoring.
