The subsequent intervention file is compiled during the design phase of the work by the coordinator responsible for it and forwarded to the coordinator responsible for the works phase, where this is different. A record of this transmission is attached to the file.
The post-construction works file is handed over to the project owner by the coordinator on duty when the work is handed over. A record of this handover is attached to the file. The file is attached to the notarial deeds drawn up each time the work is transferred. In the case of joint ownership, a copy of the file is also given to the building’s managing agent.
During any new operation for which a health and safety coordinator is required, a copy of the file for subsequent work on the structure is given to the health and safety coordinator appointed by the project owner. The coordinator makes any changes and additions to the file arising from the new work. The transmission rules set out in this section apply to the updated file.
Where the value of a building construction project exceeds 760,000 euros, at least one part of the site relating to this project must have road access, a connection to the drinking water and electricity distribution networks and waste disposal under conditions such that the premises intended for the site workers comply with the provisions applicable to them in terms of health and safety at work. A site access road is built to allow vehicles and pedestrians to reach at least one point within the site perimeter. This road is extended into the site by other roads allowing workers to access the areas where the various premises intended for them are installed. Access roads must be passable at all times. Rainwater is drained and evacuated. These routes are adequately lit.
The connection to a drinking water distribution network must be made in such a way as to ensure an adequate supply to the various water points provided in the workers’ quarters.
Connection to an electricity distribution network provides sufficient power to supply the various equipment and installations in the workers’ premises.
Waste is disposed of in accordance with current sanitary regulations.

Exemptions granted by the Regional Director of Companies, Competition, Consumption, Labour and Employment are subject to the implementation of compensatory health and safety measures. They are issued after consultation with the Organisme professionnel de prévention du bâtiment et des travaux publics. They set the duration of their application.
