The working environment is organised in such a way that any energy or substance used or produced can be supplied and removed safely.
Work equipment and its components must be installed in such a way that they do not impede the use of tools, accessories, equipment and machinery required to carry out installation and adjustment operations, or maintenance operations, which are the responsibility of the operator, in complete safety.
Work equipment shall be installed and, where necessary, equipped in such a way that workers can access and remain safely and without excessive fatigue in all places necessary for the use, adjustment and maintenance of such equipment and its components.
Passageways and aisles where workers can move between work equipment must be at least 80 centimetres wide. The profile and condition of the floor in these passageways and walkways must allow safe movement.
